A bit about me…I’m Crystal Thomas, I was born and raised in California before making the Washington, D.C. area home over a decade ago. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me by the water (the Chesapeake Bay counts ☺), painting, spending time with my family or at a baseball game with my husband—a retired Navy Corpsman. My most meaningful role though, is being an IVF mom, a journey that has shaped my resilience and perspective both personally and professionally.

Professionally, I’m a creative leader with 17 years of experience building brands, scaling creative organizations and leading multidisciplinary teams. I partner with executives and cross-functional teams to develop creative strategies, build scalable systems, evolve workflows and translate business goals into meaningful brand experiences. As Global Creative Director at POLITICO, I lead a team of six designers supporting teams across Live events, product, marketing, editorial and revenue throughout North America and Europe.
